I start companies and movements. I read, write, invest, coach and speak.
I write a newsletter, Rolling Across My Desk, that goes out to about 30,000 readers (archives, testimonials, subscribe).
And, today, I’m known for a few things:
1) Launching the Collaborative Gain Councils for product and GM leaders in Silicon Valley and around the world; 2) helping to launch the disciplines of product and CX – see my book Customers Included; 3) launching pro-bono programs like Slow Art Day and WBRG; 4) and, most recently, for writing Never Search Alone and for launching the free global volunteer-led movement – helping anyone laid off or let go.
Speaking of the Never Search Alone movement – our north star is simple: make this free program as ubiquitous as AA.
We are making progress towards this north star:
- 50,000+ job seekers helped
- ~5,000+ volunteers
- 5,000+ Job Search Councils launched

I am finishing the next book in the Never Alone series.
I'm running Never Search Alone – detailed above. We need more volunteers.
The spring 2026 Council meetings for Collaborative Gain, a trusted community and coaching platform for 2,000+ senior leaders from Google, Amazon, and beyond, are coming up in La Jolla.
I'm coaching CEOs and Chief Product Officers working in some of the top AI companies (it's intense, to say the least).
We just finished the first adult section of the World of Business Reading Group and it was gangbusters.
We are also gearing up for summer 2026 for the high school and college program.
